Mike CeballosMike Ceballos retired as the Wyoming State President for Qwest Communications International in 2011. His career began in 1980 under the AT&T Bell System and served customers in the residential, business, public coin telephone, and wholesale markets. Mike has experience in managing field operations; business offices providing customer service, billing, and sales with both basic and major accounts; accounting and budget analysis; project, product and market management; total quality management; human resources; and public policy including regulatory relations, lobbying on a local, state and national level, and served as the media spokesperson.

He is actively involved in organizations that are predominately Wyoming focused. These include the Cheyenne Chamber, Cheyenne LEADS, Wyoming Taxpayers’ Association, Wyoming Business Alliance, UW College of Business Advisory Board, Leadership Wyoming Advisory Board, Wyoming P-16 Education Council, Wyoming National Board Certification Initiative Advisory Board, Cheyenne Frontier Days Art Show and Sale, and McREL International (education research and development).

Ceballos’s undergraduate education began at the University of Arizona and he received a BSBA in 1980 from Northern Arizona University. In 1997, he received a MBA from the University of Colorado. Currently, Mike is completing a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the UW College of Education.

Mike lives in Cheyenne with his wife Addie. They have two grown children. Mike was appointed to the Wyoming Retirement System Board in 2016 and is an at-large member.
