Dennis McDonald graduated from Star Valley High School in 1988. He joined the Afton Volunteer Fire Department in 1998. Mr. McDonald served for 6 years as department secretary, 4 years as Assistant Chief and is currently serving his seventh year as Chief. The department currently has 32 volunteers. He is a past president of the Wyoming State Fireman’s Association and a current member of the Wyoming Fire Chiefs Association. Mr. McDonald was a proud member of the Afton Rural drill team, competing at the annual fire convention for nearly 20 years. He loves serving the department and his community in Star Valley.
