As a courtesy and convenience to our retirees WRS has approved vendors for whom we can set up a monthly deduction out of your benefit payment each month.  This will ensure your monthly insurance premiums or association dues are paid without you having to remember to pay them yourself.

Starting Deductions

To set up deductions from your pension you will need to contact the vendor directly to complete any paperwork they may have. The vendor will then let us know the amount, and when to start, change or stop deductions.  Please refer to the Vendor Contact List for contact information for our current approved vendors.  If you do not see your preferred vendor on the list, they are not currently a vendor in our system.  You can recommend they contact WRS.

Stopping Deductions

If you currently have a deduction from your benefit that you wish to stop, you will need to contact the vendor directly and they will notify WRS to stop the deduction.  Please refer to Vendor Contact List for current contact information.

Issue on Amounts

If you don’t agree with the amounts being deducted from your benefit you will need to contact the vendor directly.  Please refer to Vendor Contact List for current contact information.

Deductions more than Pension

In the event your monthly deductions are more than your benefit payments, WRS will have to shut all deductions off for the vendor with the largest deduction.  In this case, it is very important that you contact the vendor to arrange direct payment.
